Blackboard courses come with an 8 GB storage quota. Use the below steps to see how much you have used.

  1. Log into Blackboard and go to your course
  2. Under "Content Collection", click on the Course ID
  3. At the top of the screen, click the small dropdown arrow next to the course ID
  4. Click "Size" twice to sort by size
  5. Check the boxes next to the files you wish to delete

    . Generally the largest files will be videos, which can be moved into Kaltura. Duplicate files are another common issue leading to the course quota being used up.

  6. Click "Delete"

    Delete. Make sure that the files being deleted are either backed up or unnecessary, as deleting them from the content collection will remove them from your course.

Move Videos to Kaltura:

  1. Log into Blackboard and go to your course
  2. Under "Content Collection", click on the Course ID
  3. At the top of the screen, click the small dropdown arrow next to the course ID
  4. Click the down arrow next to the video you wish to download
  5. Click "Download Package"
  6. Check the box next to the video once it's downloaded, then click "Delete"
  7. Follow this guide to upload the video to Kaltura
  8. Follow this guide to add the video to your HuskyCT course
