The purpose of this article is NOT to use the alert feature outlined here as a function of emergency alerts, this is only to display a single bulletin without having the other bulletins be displayed for a pre-determined time.

Create an alert bulletin:

Login to Carousel
Navigate the the desired zone for the alert bulletin to be posted.
Click New Bulletin
Select the desired template from the template options.
Upload your content to the template
Click on the schedule tab.
Click the box next to Always Active to change it to NO
Under Date Availability set the dates and times you would like this bulletin to be active.
Click on the Extras tab
Click the box next to the Is this an alert? under Display Settings - when this option is checked this is the ONLY bulletin that will be displayed during the time and days that were set in step 4 in the schedule tab.
When ready click Publish in the top right corner.

When this bulletin is active, no other bulletins that are in that zone will be displayed on the screen.
