  1. Open the Outlook Desktop Client by clicking the Outlook icon on your computer. If you are prompted to log in, enter:
  2. Username: UConn email address
  3. Password: Faculty, staff and students use their NetID password.  Student workers use their student work account password.
  4. Click Calendar, located near the bottom left corner of your Outlook inbox window.
  5. In the Home tab, select Open Calendar.
  6. Here, you can select From Address Book… , From Room List…, or Open
  7. At the bottom left corner, click on the calendar icon.

  8. Click Add in the top right

  9. In the drop down bar, select Open Shared Calendar...
  10. Enter the display name (e.g., ~ITS – Conference Room 102A) or resource number (e.g., resource0010) of the calendar. Double-click the calendar from the search results.

  1. Click on Name...
  2. In the top left search bar, type in the name of the resource.

  3. Select the shared calendar from the list and click Ok.
  4. Click Ok.
  5. The shared calendar will now appear in the left side bar. Click the check mark next to it for it to be displayed.
