- Open the Outlook Desktop Client by clicking the Outlook icon on your computer. If you are prompted to log in, enter:
- Username: UConn email address Password: Faculty, staff and students use their NetID password. Student workers use their student work account password.
- Click Calendar, located near the bottom left corner of your Outlook inbox window.
- In the Home tab, select Open Calendar. Here, you can select From Address Book… , From Room List…, or Open
- At the bottom left corner, click on the calendar icon.
- Click Add in the top right
- In the drop down bar, select Open Shared Calendar...
- Enter the display name (e.g., ~ITS – Conference Room 102A) or resource number (e.g., resource0010) of the calendar. Double-click the calendar from the search results.

- Click on Name...
- In the top left search bar, type in the name of the resource.
- Select the shared calendar from the list and click Ok.
- Click Ok.
- The shared calendar will now appear in the left side bar. Click the check mark next to it for it to be displayed.
