While the Webinar is in session, you may modify user privileges. Access the Participant menu by using the toolbar at the top of the Webex Webinars Window. Once it is open, click on Assign Privileges.
Open the Participant menu.
Here you see Mute options. You may choose to Mute on Entry, but remember this only applies to Panelists since Attendees do not have microphone privileges.
Anyone Can Share also only applies to Panelists; Attendees do not have the option of sharing.
To see more option, choose Assign Privileges.... You may also use the keyboard shortcut of Ctrl+K.
In this menu, the Host can choose which groups the Panelists are allowed to Chat to directly. By clicking on the plus sign next to All Panelists in the top-left corner, the Host can alter the privileges of individual Panelists.
Changing Webinar Options
Open the Webinar menu and choose Options....
The video option only applies to Panelists.
You may disable the Chat, Q&A, and Reactions altogether.
You do not need to change settings in the Content Sharing or Import Mode tabs.
