Installing Updates in Ubuntu Linux

1. Use the desktop search function to find Update Manager.
   
2. Open Update Manager.
3. Click check to find all new updates.
4. To install all needed updates, click on the Install Updates option. Ubuntu will prompt you for the user password when installing the updates.

Enabling Automatic Updates in Ubuntu Linux

1. Open Update Manager.
2. Click the Settings button in the bottom left.
3. In the Updates tab, set the Check for Updates field to Daily and install security updates without confirmation.
4. Select Close.
