We link position with key attributes, such as job code, department, union and accounting

Link employee with a unique position number. We try to maintain a 1-1 relationship.

 

Job opening

 

Position drives the job opening request

 


 

And prepopulates the request accordingly


Interfaces

  • CORE defines the position number for classified positions.
  • UConn defines unclassified positions.
  • CORE maintains all position attributes via employment updates.
  • UConn defines an independent set of “future” attributes during the recruitment process. These attributes materialize once we hire someone in the position. After that, CORE takes over the actual maintenance.
