Manually Entering a Grade
Navigate to your course in HuskyCT.
On the top navigation menu, click the Gradebook tab.
Find the item you want to enter grades for.
Click on the item’s name
You will see a list of your students.
To enter a grade and feedback for a students.
Click on the white grading pill, located to the right of the student’s name under the heading Grade, and enter the score.
Optionally, to provide written feedback, click the Add Feedback link under the Feedback heading immediately to the right of the student’s name. A textbox will appear where you can enter feedback.
Once you have entered a grade, you receive the option to Post the grade or once all grades have been entered the option to Post All Grades.
Once you want students to be able to view their score select either Post or Post All Grades.
Overriding a Grade
Navigate to your course in Husky CT.
On the top navigation menu, click on the Gradebook tab.
Find the item you want to override a grade for.
Click on the item’s name.
You will see a list of students and their submissions.
Find the student you want to override a grade for, and click on the grading pill under the Grade heading.
Enter the new grade.
The grade will save, and next to the column the word Override will appear, indicating the grade has been changed, although this will not be visible to students.
