Definition/Usage

Term Units Taken Toward Academic Load is the sum of credits a student has taken for the given term. The student receives credit upon successful completion (satisfactory grade) of the course.

Example

Student #123456 enrolls in the following classes for Spring 2024:

Class Credits Taken

MATH 1128 3

CHEM 1122 (see CHEM LAB)

CHEM 1122 LAB 4

ENGL 1107 3

EEB 2202 3

This student enrolled in 13 credits and will show 13 credits in Term Units Taken for Academic Load. If this student receives a dissatisfactory grade in any of these classes, they will not earn credit for the class.
