Troubleshooting

In the event that accessing either a CNAME or an Alias does not work after the firewall changes, try one / combo of the following—

  1. Try an incognito (Google Chrome) or InPrivate window (MS Edge)

  2. Try flushing dns — on windows:

    1.  Open command prompt (click on the Start Menu → Start typing "Command Prompt" and select "Command Prompt")

       

    2.  Type the following command:

      Flush DNS
      ipconfig /flushdns



    3.  Repeat step 1, above.

  3. As a last resort (provided firewall rules are working for others but not yourself), restart your machine
