This article is for instructors who wish to learn how to use Respondus to publish questions to HuskyCT.

Before publishing questions to HuskyCT, the server connection to HuskyCT must be set up. To do this, see Settings for Server Connection to HuskyCT.

  1. Open Respondus
  2. Click "Preview + Publish"
  3. Click "Publish"
  4. Click "Publish Wizard"
  5. Choose "Publish to single course" or "Batch Publish to multiple courses"
  6. Make sure that the blackboard server is set to the profile created for blackboard connection.
  7. Click "Next"
  8. Choose the course (or courses) to publish to
  9. Choose "Create new Exam"
  10. Check the box next to "Link Exam to Content Area and make available"
  11. Choose the content area to deploy the test into, then click "Next"
  12. Wait until the message "Completed successfully" is displayed, then click "Finish"

The exam will now be displayed in the chosen content area. The test will be hidden from students by default, so it is important to edit the test settings so the test is made available when desired. For information on editing the test settings, please see Setting Test Options.
