This article is intended for instructors who wish to learn how to force submit a test attempt that is listed as "in progress".

  1. Navigate to the full grade center

    The blue icon in the Grade Center indicates an attempt in progress.

  2. Click on the down arrow next to the icon to activate the options menu.

  3. Click on the Attempt date link.

    The name of the student will appear at the top of the screen that displays the student’s in progress attempt.

  4. Click on the gold double down arrow to expand the “Test Information” section.

  5. Click the “Submit Attempt” button.

  6. Click “OK” to complete the submission of the student’s attempt.
