In order to reserve an EMS space, you will need to use a reservation template. If you are booking as UPDC faculty/staff, your reservation template functions does These hoteling reservation templates do not require any further approval and will be complete upon submission.

To reserve an EMS Space:

  1. Sign into your EMS Web Portal with your Net ID and password at EMS Web Portal Sign On.

  2. Click Create a Reservation from the browse menu in the left sidebar of your EMS Homepage.

  3. Find your reservation template and click Book now.

  4. Once redirected, enter the Date, Start Time, and End Time into the fields provided.

  5. If you are making a recurring reservation, click Recurrence and enter the recurrence details in the pop up window. Schedule an end date for the recurring reservation OR enter the number of occurrences you wish to reserve and click Apply Recurrence.

  6. Click Search to see available spaces and click the green +icon next to a space to reserve it OR if you know which space you want to reserve:

    1. Scroll down and click on the I Know What Room I Want option from the left sidebar menu of your EMS reservation page.

    2. Enter the Room Name and numberof the space you wish to reserve. Click the green + icon next to the space (this function is only accessible if the space is available to reserve).

  7. In the pop-up window, enter the expected Number of Attendees for your event and click Add Room.

  8. Confirm that the space you wish to reserve appears under the Selected Room tab of your EMS reservation page and click Next Step.

  9. Once redirected to the Reservation Details tab, enter the Event Name of your reservation. Select the appropriate Event Type from the options provided in the drop-down menu.

  10. Select the appropriate Group from the options provided in the drop-down menu and enter your Contact information (phone number and email address) into the fields provided.

  11. Review the EMS reservation terms and conditions by clicking on Terms and Conditions. Click I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.

  12. Click Create Reservation.

Your EMS space reservation is complete and you will receive an email confirmation with your reservation details.
