Faculty, staff, and students may run into Error Code: 80180014 when installing Microsoft365 Microsoft 365 apps on their personal devices.
Cause
ITS has disabled a feature that asserts presents itself during the installation of Microsoft365 appsMicrosoft 365 apps on personal and university-owned devices. The function purpose of this feature is to add the computer, in which the Microsoft365 app is being installed on, to UConn’s integrate the computer into UConn's institutional computer management system. This functionality is not appropriate suitable for personal devices and may lead to user issues if their devices become enrolled.
ITS disabled Although this feature , however the user is still given the choice to enroll their has been deactivated, you may still have the option to enroll your device in UConn's management system. If the user does you choose not to opt - out of this feature, the installer serves them you will encounter the following error:

Fix
During the installation process, do not check the Allow my organization to manage my device. Instead, click on No, sign into this app only.
