Installing Updates in Ubuntu Linux

1. Use the desktop search function

   and

   to find the Update Manager.

2. Open the Update Manager

   and click check 

   .

3. Click Check to find all

   the

   new updates.

4. Selecting 

   Click on the Install Updates

   will install all needed updates.Ubuntu

   option. Ubuntu will prompt you for the user password when installing

   the

   updates.

Enabling Automatic Updates in Ubuntu Linux

1. Open Update Manager.

2. Click

   the settings 

   the Settings button in the bottom left.

3. In the

   "

   Updates

   "

   tab, set the Check for Updates field to Daily and

   install security updates without confirmation

   Install Security Updates Without Confirmation.

4. Select Close.
