Add at least one Media source that will become a slide for commenting on. Only , click the + Add a VoiceThread button.

Now you can select Media that will become the slides that will be commented on. **At least one slide needs to be added to be able to share the VoiceThread with the other group members.

Share the VoiceThread with other group members by clicking Share and Return to Group.

Submitting a Group VoiceThread for a VoiceThread Assignment
Note |
---|
The VoiceThread Assignment Builder does not currently offer an option for Group Assignment submissions. This means for Group Project submissions, either: Method A) One student from each group will submit the group's VoiceThread as an assignment submission, and grading to be manually input in the Grade Center for the other group members; or Method B) every student will submit their group's VoiceThread. |
Submission Method A:
Once your group has finalized all of the media and comments and settings, select one member of your group to submit.
Before submitting the group VoiceThread to the VoiceThread Assignment link in HuskyCT, make a copy of the group VoiceThread by hovering the cursor over your group project and clicking the copy icon.
Note: This is a critical step as submitting a VoiceThread assignment will remove the group VoiceThread from your account.an initial slide, click the Share with group button.
Enter a title if necessary, then click Save.
Finally, grant the “Edit” access level and click Save.
Once shared, the VoiceThread will appear when group members access the group via the VT Home page.
Any group member can now freely add media and comments to the VoiceThread by clicking the edit icon.

Submitting the Group VoiceThread
⚠️ ⚠️ For group VoiceThread projects, only one member of the group will need to submit, however the member who submits should be different than the initial creator (the “owner”). When a non-owner submits, a submission copy will be created, and group members will not lose access to the original VT project.
Once your group has finalized the VoiceThread project, select a group member to submit (not the original creator).
That member should navigate to the VoiceThread Assignment link in the HuskyCT course.
Then click Start Assignment.
Then select Use an existing VoiceThread instead of creating a new one.
When you copy a VoiceThread, you can edit the name of the copy, and specify which comments the copy should keep. For your group project, choose Include all Comments.
Navigate to the VoiceThread Assignment link in your HuskyCT course.
From the Assignment page, click Start Assignment.
From the "Let's get started!" page, selectUse an existing VoiceThread instead of creating a new one.
Select the Submission copy your group's VoiceThread and click Submit.
