If you notice the sound on your Latitude 7400 is not working, and your audio devices are non existentnot available, then the solution is most likely to download new and install updated sound drivers for your laptop. This article details the process of downloading and installing the new drivers.

Click this link in order to navigate to the Dell driver download page.
Click the “Download” button.
Run the .exe application that downloads.
Click “Install” in the application window that pops up. A new window will pop up after a few moments.
Click “Next” twice and the installation of the new driver should start.
Make sure that you check the box for “Yes, I want to restart my computer now,” or, ensure you restart your computer in order to complete the process.
Click “Finish,” one more application window will pop up you can close.
