Known Issue with the current release, please read:
|
- Webex Events is a great option for hosting seminars/events and delivering content to many people remotely.
- Use Webex Events when the presentation is one-way. In other words, there is no, or very limited, vocal audience participation.
- An Event can have up to 1,000 participants.
- Learn how to Live-Stream to a larger audience: Webex Live-Streaming
- Webex Events is web-based so there is no need for a VPN and do not use a Remote Desktop Connection.
- The audience may use Chat and Q&A.
- Panelists, Cohosts, and the Host may make use of the Practice Session.
- Cisco Webex official description of Events (vs. Meetings): Host Webinars with Events (YouTube)
- To Troubleshoot Webex Events, use the general Webex Troubleshooting pages. If you need further help, reach out to avt@uconn.edu.
