WePresent is a wireless presentation device installed in classrooms. It allows a presenter to wirelessly share content to the projector in the classroom without being bound to the podium. The WePresent allows a user to connect their device (iPhone, Android, MacBook, PC) to the WePresent’s wireless network. Then using either MirrorOp or AirPlay, the users can have the projector mirror their device.
Up to four users may project at the same time via the MirrorOp application. MirrorOp is a free download from your device’s app store or from MirrorOp’s website.

Currently most classrooms have a WePresent source on the touch panel. Newer classrooms will have a different wireless HDMI device that performs the same function. The touch panel will have one of the following buttons: |
Connecting your device
- Tap on the touch screen to wake the classroom system.
- Chose WePresent or Wireless Presentation (choose the available button).
- Connect your device to the WiFi network created by the wireless presentation device.
Depending on the device in the classroom, you will see one of two WiFi network name formats.- If it is a WePresent, you will see a WiFi network named mchu101.wepresent.uconn.edu (substitute your classroom name).
- If it is not a WePresent, you will see a WiFi network that has the room's name within the network name. ex: DIRECT-CO-mchu101-TE
