Have the recorder focus on one Participant
To have the recorder focus on one participant regardless of who is speaking, there are just a few simple steps. We recomend that you test this setup before your Meeting to find the optimal recording layout.
- Before the session (Meeting) starts, you need the change the recorder's layout. Looking at the screenshot above, choose the appropriate recording layout that will highlight your chosen Participant.
- Save your recording layout and then press Home in the top left of the Webex website.
- Use this website to begin your Meeting to ensure your new settings will be applied.
The Desktop App syncs settings (checks for changes) at regular intervals, so it may not be updated at the time you want to begin your session. For this reason, we recommend that you begin the session from the website. - Once in your Meeting with the chosen participant, change your Layout to Focus.
- Next, you will Lock the view for Everyone on the chosen Participant. The recorder will respect this lock.
- Press Record to begin recording.
