Installing Updates in Ubuntu Linux

Use the desktop search function and to find Update Manager.
Open Update Manager and click .
Click check to find all the new updates.
Selecting Install Updates will To install all needed updates., click on the Install Updates option. Ubuntu will prompt you for the user password when installing the updates.

Open Update Manager.
Click the settings the Settings button in the bottom left.
In the "Updates " tab, set the Check for Updates field to Daily and install security updates without confirmation.
Select Close.
