Reinstall the Application: Mac Users That Can't Run Kaltura Capture

Issue: Less Than 1GB of Memory, Kaltura Cannot Run
Mac users may receive a message that there is less than 1GB of memory and it Kaltura cannot run. The user needs to uninstall the application completely, including all Kaltura Capture related files. It can be done by performing the steps below:, and then reinstall the app.
To do so,
- Uninstall the application itself by moving its icon to Trash

When a video in Kaltura Capture doesn't upload or process on the Kaltura server. This is only applicable when you recorded just the webcam or the desktop, but not both.Windows: The user needs to , users should manually upload the video.
Windows
You should check the local copy of the video to ensure it's not corrupted and then needs to manually upload before manually uploading it to Kaltura. If the video is corrupted, they you will need to re- record the video again. It can be done by performing the steps below:
To do so,
- Press Win+R to open up the Run window and type '%localappdata%'.
- Type %localappdata%, as shown in the image below.
- Open Kaltura > Capture > .
- Click on Capture.
- Select Recordings. The file names are not descriptive. You will need to rely on the date modified to determine which video you need to re-upload.
- Find the .mp4 video that relates corresponds to your recording and navigate to https://kaltura.uconn.edu/my-media. .
- Navigate to the Kaltura My Media page.
- Log in with your NetID.
- Choose "Add New>Media Upload"
Click on Add New. - Select Media Upload.
- You will be able to rename it as it's uploading. Once finished, you will see a green banner telling you the upload is complete. The video will now process and you can close . Close the window.

- Navigate to https://kaltura.uconn.edu/my-media. Login the Kaltura MyMedia page.

- Drag the .mp4 file previously you located in Step 9 onto the browser window to begin uploading it.
