A Final Plan of Study is required for all students who intend to graduate, except for Nursing and Pharmacy students. The Final Plan of Study is due on or before the fourth week of your final semester.  The process described here generates a report which is routed directly to your advisor.

In order to Before you submit your Final Plan of Study, you must have  applied apply for graduation in the Student Admin Administration System.

To submit your Final Plan of Study, 

  1. Log in to your Student Administration account.
  2. Navigate to the Main Menu. 
  3. Click on Self-Service. 
  4. Select Student Center. The Student Center will appear.

  5. From the Student Center, click the the Academics link, from the 'other academic...' drop down menu,
  6. Select Academic Requirements.
  7. Click the double arrow Go button. 
    • Alternatively, you can access your Academic Requirements by clicking the My Academics link and then clicking the View my advisement report link.

  8. Wait as the system generates your advisement report.
  9. On the My Academic Requirements page, click the Submit Final Plan of Study button. This button does not display unless you have already applied for graduation.

  10. Confirm your request by clicking the OK button.

    • Click the Cancel button to cancel your request. 
  11. On the Plan of Study Comments page, enter text regarding any course related information that requires approval. The example below is for a Civil Engineering student.

    • Click the OK button to send your request to your advisor.  
  12. Two emails will be generated. One is sent to your advisor asking them to review and approve your Final Plan of Study, while the other is sent to you (as shown in the example below), confirming that your request has been sent. Click the My Plan of Study Approvals link. You will be prompted to log in to your Student Administration account.

  13. The My Plan of Study Approvals page will display. Click the Comments icon to view or submit additional comments

  14. Your previously submitted comments will display, indicating the date and time the Plan of Study was submitted. Enter any new comments.

  15. Click the OK button. 
  16. Navigate to the Student Center.
    1. Click on My Academics.
    2. Select View My Plan of Study Approvals.

    3. Alternatively, navigate to the Student Center. 
      1. In the Academics section, select Plan of Study Approvals from the drop-down list. 
      2. Click the GO icon to access your Plan of Study Approvals page. 
  17. When your advisor and dean approve your Final Plan of Study, you will receive an email, as shown in the example below.
