- Open Apple Mail.
- Select the message in the Inbox.
- Click View in the Menu Bar. Select Message.
- Select All Headers (Long Headers in older versions of Apple Mail).
- This will open the full source of the message, including headers, in a new document.
Gmail
- Open the message in your Gmail inbox.
- Click the three dots (ellipsis) in the top-right corner of the message.
- Select Show original.
- A new tab will open displaying all the header information.
