Installing Updates in Ubuntu Linux

1. Use the desktop search function and find Update Manager.

2. Open Update Manager and click check to find all the new updates.
3. By selecting Selecting Install Updates , it will install all needed updates.
4. When trying to install the updates, Ubuntu will prompt you for the user password in order to proceedwhen installing the updates.

Enabling Automatic Updates in Ubuntu Linux

1. Open Update Manager.
2. Click the settings button in the bottom left.
3. In the updates "Updates" tab, set the Check for Updates field to Daily and install security updates without confirmation.
4. Then select Select Close.
