Continue below to learn how to add secondary transcripts.
Autogenerating captions (transcript)
A transcript is generated automatically by default. When uploading a video, you have the choice of un-checking the box to skip a transcript generation. When un-checked, the option to upload your own transcript appears.
Adding Subtitles (secondary transcript)
Adding subtitles allows you to have transcripts that are in different languages; these subtitles will appear on top of the video. The subtitles need to have similar timestamp formatting as the original transcript. To find this formatting, download the original transcript and then edit the text to reflect the new language.
