Instructors can download their class rosters as Excel documents in the Student Administration System. 

To download a class roster as an Excel document, 

  1. Log in to the Student Administration System. 
  2. Navigate to Self Service. 
    •  Click on Faculty Center. The Faculty Center will automatically display your Teaching Schedule for the current semester.

  3. Click the Class Roster icon next to the class number.

  4. To download the roster, click the grid icon located to the right of Find. The roster will download as an Excel document.

    You must enable prompting for automatic downloads for this function to work properly.


  5. If you are using Internet Explorer (IE) and are unable to download the file, 
    1. Open the IE browser.
    2. Access the Tools menu.
    3. Select Internet Options.
    4. Select the Security tab.
    5. Click the Custom Level button.
    6. Scroll down to the Downloads link.
    7. Under Automatic prompting for file downloads, select Enable.
    8. Click OK.
    9. Click OK.
    10. Close your browser window.

  6. Click Open. Alternatively, you can save the file and open it at a later time, if desired.

    To download the Class Roster as an Excel document from Safari, 
    1. Click the Safari menu.
    2. Deselect Block Pop-up Windows
    3. Click the Download to Excel button.
    4. Close the blank window that opens. The Class Roster file will download as an excel document.
    5. Click Open. Alternatively, you can save the file and open it at a later time, if desired.
  7. Upon clicking Open, the roster file will open in Excel.
