iClicker Student Support

If your instructor has required the use of iClicker in your course(s) and you are looking to learn the ins and outs of this technology app, then you’ve come to the right place! This article is intended to assist and guide students on using iClicker.

What is iClicker? iClicker is a polling systems designed to enhance student engagement and participation. iClicker is a student-pay technology system, meaning students are responsible for purchasing the app subscription or the physical iClicker Remote.

How to purchase an iClicker Access Code: Students can purchase iClicker through the UConn Bookstore or directly from iClicker.

  • Students who purchase the Husky Book Bundle will have their app subscription or remote included with their materials.

  • Students who are not purchasing the Husky Book Bundle can rent a physical remote from the bookstore, or can purchase an app subscription directly from iClicker.

Access Code Information:

  • iClicker allows a 14 day free trial. If you receive a message that states, “Your free trial has expired”, this is likely due to not having entered the access code.

  • If purchasing the Husky Book Bundle, the iClicker access code is only useable for a 6 month period. Students should receive an access code with all additional materials from their Book Bundle. However, the iClicker access code can be found in the Book Bundle Digital Access on HuskyCT.

    • From your HuskyCT Content page, Select ‘Books & Tools’ from the Details & Actions menu on the right.

    • Click ‘Book Bundle Digital Access'

  • If purchasing an access code directly from iClicker, students can sign up here. We recommend purchasing a subscription for 6 months at a time.
