Creating and Linking a Gradescope Assignment on HuskyCT

This article is to guide instructors on creating an assignment with Gradescope on HuskyCT.

 

Overview:

Instructors can incorporate Gradescope assignments within their HuskyCT course. Gradescope offers a wide variety of assignment types to choose from. The assignment types that Gradescope offers range from fully online to handwritten, to a combination of the two.

By creating a Gradescope Assignment link, instructors can sync grades directly to their HuskyCT Gradebook.

 

Creating a Gradescope Assignment on HuskyCT

  1. Navigate to your HuskyCT Course Content Page.

  2. Click on the plus icon.

  3. From the drop-down menu, select Content Market.

  4. Select Gradescope Assignment.

  5. From the Link to University of Connecticut Assignment window, Click A new Gradescope assignment.

  6. Click Link Assignment.

  7. After linking the Gradescope assignment to HuskyCT, instructors can choose the desired assignment type.

a. Exam / Quiz

b. Homework / Problem Set

c. Bubble Sheet

d. Programming Assignment

e. Online Assignment

 

 

If the Gradescope Assignment is not linking back to your HuskyCT Course Gradebook, ensure that the correct LTI link is selected upon creation. Instructors, when creating an assignment link, should choose Gradescope Assignment.
