Gradescope (for Instructors)
Gradescope is a feedback and assessment tool that reduces difficulties and time associated with grading exams, homework, and other assignments. It is widely used for delivering remote assessments. Instructors can provide better and more timely feedback with Gradescope, resulting in improved learning outcomes. AI-assisted grading allows instructors to automatically group similar answers and grade all answers within the group at once.
At the conclusion of the Spring 2025 semester, ITS retired the Scantron exam scanning service. Instructors are encouraged to use Gradescope for paper-based multiple choice exams. Old bubble sheets used with Scantron are not supported.
Gradescope offers five assignment types:

Getting Started
To access Gradescope, navigate to your HuskyCT course.
Under Details & Actions, select Books & Tools.
Locate the Gradescope tool and click the plus button. If you do not yet have a Gradescope account, completing this step will create one for you.
This Gradescope LTI link will bring instructors to their Gradescope home page. It is not a Gradescope Assignment link. In order to sync grades from a Gradescope assignment, instructors will want to use the Gradescope Assignment LTI tool.
A Gradescope link will now appear at the bottom of your Course Content page. It will automatically be hidden from students.
