Kaltura Media Stitching

Instructors can use Kaltura’s Media Stitching feature to combine multiple videos and images into one presentation.

Media Stitching is available with only VOD videos and images. Currently, multi-stream videos are not supported.

 

Media Stitching with Kaltura

  1. Navigate to kaltura.uconn.edu

  1. Click Guest, then Login to log in with your NetID

  2. Click Add New in the top-right of your window, then select Stitch Videos.

  3. By default, the video will be titled My new video followed by a few numbers. Create a new title under New video name.

  4. From the Choose media to stitch, click the add button. The chosen media will appear on the right side under Media to stitch together.

  5. To reorder the chosen media, Click and Drag the two lines located to the left of the media.

  6. Click Create. (Please note, that once an instructor has clicked Create, the media cannot be edited.)

  7. After the new stitched video has finished processing, you can edit the details, publishing settings, and more clicking on the options under the player. Click Save.
