Adding Course Banner Image in Ultra Course View

This article is intended for instructors looking to add a banner image that is displayed at the top of their course.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to your course in HuskyCT.

  2. Under the right side Details and Actions menu, look for Course Image.

  3. Click Edit display settings.

  4. From the Display settings, click the image icon.

  5. From here you can either upload an image from your computer or utilize Stock images from Unsplash.

  6. If you select Stock Images from Unsplash, it will automatically pop up with suggested images based on the title of your course.

  7. To search for other images, input a word or phases in the search bar, then click Search. You can use the left and right arrows to view the image results.

  8. Click on an image to select it, then click Next.

  9. Adjust the banner dimensions for your selected image, then click Save.

  10. Back on the Display settings, click Save again.
