Students can enroll in their classes in Student Admin. Once you have populated your Shopping Cart, either manually or by https://uconn.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SAS/pages/27598716965 , you can use the following steps to enroll in the classes in Student Admin.
Log in to your Student Administration account.
Select on the Manage Classes tile.
Select Shopping Cart from the tile menu.
If you need to update Class Preferences (e.g., adding yourself to the Waitlist for the class), select the Change Preferences option in the Preferences column.
Update your Class Preferences in the Preferences window that displays and select Save. Not all classes will have Class Preference options.
When you’re ready to enroll, select the checkbox next to the course(s) you want to add to your schedule. Select Enroll.
Validate
Use the Validate button to identify any enrollment validation messages (e.g, time conflicts, pre-requisite requirements, holds, etc.) for courses in which you'd like to enroll.
Select the courses in your shopping cart for which you would like to view enrollment validation messages.
Select the Validate button.
Enrollment validation messages will display for each course you selected. Be sure to review the messages and resolve any that require action before attempting to enroll in the course.
Select Yes when prompted with the message “Are you sure you want to enroll?”
Each course will indicate whether enrollment was successful.
A green checkmark icon
next to the course indicates that the enrollment was successful.
Additional enrollment messages may be included following the class title. In the following example, enrollment in CHEM 1128Q was successful, but the enrollment message indicates “The pre-requisite has been met conditionally. The enrollment is allowed with the condition of satisfying the pre-requisite before the start of the class.”
A red x icon
next to the course indicates that the enrollment was unsuccessful. The enrollment message will indicate the reason why the enrollment was unsuccessful.
For any courses with unsuccessful enrollment, either select another course or consult your advisor.
