Download your Webex Recordings
First, you must download the recordings that are still used for instruction, training, business operations, compliance, or other ongoing University purposes.
Although the Webex recorder is very efficient in creating small video file sizes, ensure that you have enough space on your computer to download the desired recordings.
Visit UConn Webex and login.
Click on Recordings in the lefthand navigation menu.
View the recordings list
To download a single recording: click on the “download” (downward arrow) icon on the recording in the list
To download multiple recordings at once, check the checkbox on each item that you would like to download and then click Download at the top of the list
If you would also like to download the transcript, keep “.vtt” selected in the popup box.
Kaltura can generate captions for your videos and may be more accurate than the existing transcript depending on the recording’s age.
If you would instead like to keep the transcript that was generated by Webex, you may download it now and later upload it using Kaltura's Alignment ServiceSave the recording(s) to your computer’s storage drive.
The recording(s) are now on your computer as a regular video file and can be treated like any other file.
Recommended: Upload the recordings to Kaltura
ITS recommends that you upload your videos into Kaltura to ensure:

Your videos will now take some time to process before they can be viewed.
