Enabling the Legal Files Outlook Add-In

If the Legal Files Plug-In / Add-In is missing from your Outlook ribbon, try these steps to enable it.

Re-Enable LF Add-In in Outlook (classic)

  1. In Outlook (classic), click File in the upper left corner

  2. On the Info page that comes up, click on “Slow and Disabled COM Add-Ins”

  3. Find the the LFWEBMSO Add-In, and click “options” to show the option “Enable this add-in.” Check the box to the left of this option, then click “Apply” to enable.

  1. You may then see the message, “This add-in caused Outlook to open items slowly. It wasn’t disabled because it’s in the Always Enable list.” Select the option “Do not monitor this add-in for the next 30 days,” then click Apply.

The Add-In should now be added back to the ribbon at the top of your Outlook window.
