Microsoft 365 App Permissions
UConn ITS is no longer supporting app integrations with Microsoft 365, both in the web apps and the desktop apps. This means that functionality like accessing Outlook in other email apps or connecting apps to your OneDrive or other 365 apps (Word, Excel, etc.), will not work.
This change results from an audit of our 365 tenant performed by Audit and Management Advisory Services.
Due to limited support for monitoring these integrations' security aspects, requests for integrations must be declined unless they are accompanied by a contractual agreement with the vendor that complies with UConn's security policy. If you’d like to look into obtaining such an agreement, you should contact members of the Procurement IT Team listed here: UBS Staff Directory | University Business Services The link should take you directly to the Purchasing > Information Technology section.
