Definitions

The term eSignature references the electronic operations regarding requesting and fulfilling the signing of documents.

An eSign envelope is a form of digital organizer that holds materials necessary to complete an electronic signing process.

Functions of Nitro Sign

Through this eSignature software, you will be able to:

  • Smart sign and manage documents.

    • Send envelopes with one or multiple documents for signature.

    • Send manual reminders to keep signers on track.

    • Access an “audit trail” and a secure record of all actions taken during the signing process.

  • Customize specific workflow and templates.

    • Create team-specific eSign templates with pre-defined fields, routing, and automated workflows.

    • Streamline signature collection through bulk sending.

  • Enhance the security of operations through authentication.

    • Identity authentication is offered to all signers to ensure security and proper access through SMS and Mail OTP authentication.

    • ID verification is also provided, ensuring compliance with standards such as eIDAS and ZertES.

    • Their encryption and authentication protocols ensure all information is secure throughout the entirety of the signing process. Your data is protected with regular third-party audits and certifications.

SMS OTP Authentication

The system will send a one-time code to your phone via text message. You would then enter this code which will confirm your identity, helping to ensure the person logging on and/or signing has access to that specific phone number.

Mail OTP Authentication

To your email address, the system will send a one-time code or verification link. You would then retrieve the code from your inbox and enter it into the system to verify your identity. This ensures you control the email associated with the signing request.
