ListServ 17.5 Update
On December 22, 2025, ITS will update Listserv to the 17.5 version from our current 16.0 environment.
What is different in 17.5
17.5 contains a number of “under the hood” changes to Listserv to improve functionality and security features. These changes ensure that Listserv meets modern standards and best practices.
For most users, the biggest difference will be the new web interface for those that regularly use listserv.uconn.edu. The new interface discards the horizontal drop-down menus at the top of the page, for a vertical descending menu on the left side of the screen. All menus and options remain, though some have changed name or location within the website.
Additional changes have been made to searching for a List. You can now search for lists by the list name, or by list owner email address to more easily manage your lists.
After the upgrade completes, all KB pages will update to reflect new changes and information for the updated service. Stop by at that time for more in-depth how to guides to locate any features that may have moved or changed appearance.
Listserv now supports Single Sign-On
17.5 also supports single sign-on options and has been configured to use Entra login. When logging into Listserv with your personal account, you can click the link to sign in with Entra and be automatically signed into your account. No data or account preferences will have been lost.
Shared accounts do not currently support single sign-on options
