Deister Key Cabinet - Genetec Integration

The Deister key cabinet may be integrated with Genetec. A Genetec plugin is required both on the server side as well as for the Genetec client machines. The server plugin will allow the Genetec server to communicate with the Deister Commander server application. The client plugin will allow a user with sufficient rights to modify the permissions for key cabinets from within Genetec and these changes will then sync with Deister Commander (and then in turn go to the terminals at the cabinets).

One Deister server can run several key cabinets.

Server Plugin

The server plugin allows the Genetec server to communicate with the Deister server, e.g. TCNE-KEYBOX. It is installed by a security consultant.

Client Plugin

Each client machine that uses Genetec needs a plugin to modify the access rules for users to access keyTags. To acquire the plugin and with help installing it, please contact our security consultant.
