Create report of shared items in OneDrive
Students, faculty, and staff can generate a report of all the items they have shared from their OneDrive.
You can try navigating to this URL and skipping Steps 1-4: https://uconn-my.sharepoint.com/?p=22&setting=1
Visit s.uconn.edu/onedrive
Click on the settings wheel.
Click on “OneDrive settings”.
Click on “More settings”.
Click on “Run sharing report” and choose a location to save the resulting
.csvfile.You will receive an email when the report has finished processing and is ready for veiwing.
In the report, you may see many files in your personal/[email address]_uconn_edu/Documents/Microsoft Teams Chat Files/ folder. These are files that you have sent in Microsoft Teams messages. When you send a file in Teams, behind the scenes are you adding it to your OneDrive and granting share permission to your recipient. All these files reside in the “Microsoft Teams Chat Files” folder.
If you are not concerned about the Chat Files, you may delete these rows from the spreadsheet to make it easier to read.
