Deister Key Cabinet - Database Installation

The installer may install SQL Server 2016 Express initially as part of the Deister Commander installer. This should be upgraded to the 2022 version, or the most recent version compatible. If a newer Deister installer is available to initially put a newer database version, run that. 

Install SQL Server Management Studio to facilitate local management of the database. 

Refer to an existing database as a template for future installations.  

For Genetec, use the following as a template and include the relevant password. Ensure that the version matches the installed Commander version, and the database server matches the IP and instance name of the particular database. The “keyboxadmin” user was added as a local account in the database in both the Deister Commander database and the Genetec database. The database name is pscv3.
