Sharing Access to User-Created Office 365 Calendars

Faculty, staff, and student workers with Outlook email accounts can be given access to Office 365 calendars that have been created by users.

This article does not include information on providing access to calendars, also known as “shared resources,” created by ITS. Those ITS-created resources are also managed by ITS.

  1. Log into Office 365 by going to email.uconn.edu and clicking Office 365.

  2. Enter your UConn email address and NetID password if prompted.

  3. Click on the grid icon in the upper left-hand corner.

  4. Click on the Outlook icon in the window that appears.

  5. Once Outlook opens, click the calendar icon at the bottom of the window.

  6. Click on Share in the top right corner of the screen.

  7. Select the Calendar you would like to share from the drop-down menu.

  8. Add the name/email of the user you would like to share the calendar with.

  9. Click Share to send the invite to the recipient.
