Creating a Distribution Group in Outlook Client

Distribution groups are also known as distribution lists. Faculty, staff, and students can create a distribution group in the Outlook desktop application.

Creating the Distribution Group in Outlook 365

  1. Go to the following page

  2. Go to “Groups I own”

  3. Select the +Add New Group option

  4. Fill out the information for your list below

  6. Once the details have been filled out, continue to the next page and add the Owners.

  7. Then add members and then the privacy settings

  8. Select “Finish” and the list will create
