University email accounts and calendars for faculty and staff are hosted on Outlook for Microsoft 365. Outlook is the mail application for Microsoft 365.

Starting January 1st, all new UConn students will use Outlook for email. Current UConn students will transition from Gmail to Outlook this summer (2024).

Accessing Your UConn Email Online

  1. Go to email.uconn.edu

  2. Click the Microsoft 365 button and select Outlook Email.

  3. Sign in with your UConn email address.

  4. Enter your NetID password.

  5. Respond to the Duo two-factor authentication prompt, if required. You will now see your inbox in Outlook.

You can also install the Microsoft 365 mail app on your computer and mobile devices.

All UConn faculty, staff, and students may download Microsoft 365 applications on up to five University-owned or personal devices.
