The CTDA Logo and Tagline

The CTDA tagline: Connect. Preserve. Share. was developed in 2011 at the very beginning of the CTDA program by a focus group of librarians and archivists and facilitated by the Communications and Marketing department at UConn.

The tagline is a shorthand for the mission of the CTDA, to connect people and content, to preserve that content, and to make it possible to share that content with each other and the world.

The current CTDA Logo was created in 2016 by UConn student intern Erik Lindsay (UConn 2017). The logo illustrates the central ethos of the CTDA, a collaboration among many (the smaller white circles) to create something greater than each of us can achieve alone (the larger white circle).  It also illustrates the idea that the CTDA is interested in pushing beyond the boundaries (the red circle) of traditional or typical digital libraries.

Our logo and tagline reminds us of our mission and purpose every time we see it on a web page, a coaster, or a magnet, and we hope it inspires others to join us in this journey.
