You can use the Advanced Gadgets to perform lookups and integrations to other system data or Kuali Build applications.
The Data Lookup (Single Item) Gadget can be used to pre-populate a form with the contact information for the person filling out the form, who is logged in with their NetID and password. Drag the gadget onto the canvas and configure (see below):
Provide a Label
Click on Choose for Data Source
On the configuration screen select External Data | LDAP NetID Lookup and click Continue
4. From the configuration section for the Gadget, select Created By - Username.
If you are successful, you will see your NetId in the gadget on the form.
To add more details to the form, such as Legal Name and Preferred Name (Display Name), turn on the Add linked auto-filled gadgets.
