Finance Systems WF8 Security Model
Finance Systems security model in WebFOCU8 is split across 4 primary roles, and 1 additional global role. This security scheme is applied for users & groups under the Financial_Reporting content area
- UCONNFinanceUser - Basic user access for executing centrally developed reports, creating custom reports, and scheduling+distribution of custom content in permitted Content Folders.
- UCONNFinanceDeveloper - All permitted Basic User access, plus extended functionality for development of centrally developed reports and schedules, as well as Dashboards and charting capabilites
- UCONNFinanceGroupAdmin - Specialized role for Finance Systems operational staff. Grants permissions to adjust user id's and group security permissions within the Financial_Reporting content area.
- Administrators - This is explicitly granted to a minimal audience within Finance Systems team. Full global sysadmin rights for advanced troubleshooting, and configuration tasks such as working with Adapters, Applications, EDAServ, etc.
