View, Create new, Copy, Edit new or copy (do NOT edit any existing "non-test" docs). Deactivate.  tested each successfully.  used INV as original to copy from.

Steve - There are some issues with the search function around parent name and returning the results as well as when you click on the magnify glass it will reopen the search instead of allowing you to jump into the parent name search. The return value has an issue in production as well as sndbx however the sndbx seems to have even more quirkiness i.e. when you click on the return value link it does not collapse the search results grid.  Need to speak with Brett on how much we want to investigate these kinds of things seeing how the issue around the core function is already seen in prod. 

tested View of ARM and ACCT.  compared the Cloud sandbox to KFS-PRD.  for both doc types, all permissions, including inherited, were identical but for one exception.  On both, the Cancel document was not assigned to the Technical Administrator role.  This was added to PRD at the end of November, and the sandbox it based on an earlier copy of the database, therefore this change was not copied to the sandbox.  can check the next time sandbox is refreshed.

Note:  My test of Edit consisted merely of opening an edit document, but not saving or submitting it.  Since we do not edit these, we decided not to risk messing up any document types inadvertently.

12/14/2023 - There is a bug similar to the other we have seen where the search doesn't work when you have a parameter set before the search and it does not carry over. On this doc it is the namespace code is entered and then you do a component search there are no results that populate (example enter in Chart of Account and then execute the search by clicking on the magnify glass icon)
