University faculty and staff can use the Asset Panda application on Apple devices to cycle controllable property.

  1. In the menu bar, tap Tools.
  2. Tap Group Scan
  3. Tap click to select group.
  4. Tap on Assets.
  5. "Assets" should appear next to "Group Scan."
    1. Check Verify Duplicate After Scan.
    2. Tap Prompt Each Time.
    3. Tap on the red checkmark.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

           

      6. Tap Scan Barcode.

           

      7. The barcode scanner will pop up. Scan your asset.

           

      8. After scanning, the Bar Code Input screen will reappear. To add more records to the group for the same location, tap Scan Barcode. To move on to the next step, tap Finish Group Scan.
           

      9. Tap Apply Group Actions.

           

      10. Tap Dept Audit.

           

      11. Fill out all required fields (marked with a *). Then, tap Save.

           

      12. A confirmation message saying "Action Performed Successfully" should appear. You can either:

    1. Tap SCAN NEW ITEMS.
    2. Tap GO BACK TO SCANNED ITEMS.

           

Shortly after completing a group scan, you will receive an email from Asset Panda indicating the equipment has been updated.

The attached file has the list of equipment you updated today in asset panda.

      13. After creating the Group Action, you can either:

    1. Tap SCAN NEW ITEMS to start a new group scan.
    2. Minimize the app and tap on the X to exit.

What Happens When You Lose Wifi?

When Wifi connection is lost, you will receive a screen saying "Data connection not available." When the connection is re-established, your progress will resume exactly where you left off. No data will be lost.
