This article deals with a scenario that is unique to SPSS in UCONN Anyware.

  • With SPSS 28, IBM introduced the IBM ID as a way to license an instance of SPSS.
  • As of now, UCONN Anyware uses an ITS managed license server to license SPSS.
  • When you launch SPSS 28 for the first time in your Anyware session, you will see the screen below.

SPSS Statistics 28 for Windows - Apply Existing License

  • Choose Apply Existing License, and that will let you progress. You will not be asked that question again unless your UConn Anyware profile is reset.
