The University uses WebEx for videoconferencing. WebEx allows participants to collaborate through the sharing of video, audio, and your computer screen. This section is for users seeking information regarding how to join or host a WebEx meeting.
Joining a WebEx Meeting
There are four ways to join a WebEx meeting.
- Browser: You can simply click on the link sent to you, or found here, to join the meeting through the browser. This option is ideal for interviews and infrequent meetings.
- Desktop Application requires download and installation, and it is useful for frequent WebEx use.
- Phone: A smart phone enables audio/video sharing, while you can also join with a phone/landline to share audio exclusively
- Certain UConn Classrooms can be used to join meetings. Find WebEx enabled rooms here.
Hosting a WebEx Meeting
